Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account on MyWriters Notes or using our apps, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Your account

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use MyWriters Notes.

What you can do with the service

• Use it for personal or professional writing. Commercial use is allowed.
• Publish pages publicly via the /p/ link feature.
• Share pages with collaborators by email.
• Build automations against your own data via the API keys you mint in Developers.

What you may not do

• Publish illegal content, content that violates someone else's rights, or content depicting harm to minors.
• Use the service to send spam, run phishing campaigns, or distribute malware.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data.
• Resell access to the service or run a competing notes product on top of our API without explicit written agreement.
• Abuse the AI features — bulk-querying, generating illegal content, or attempting to extract Anthropic's model behavior in ways prohibited by their terms.

Your content

You own everything you write. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, transmit, and display your content as needed to operate the service (for example, to render a public page when someone visits its URL, or to send it to Anthropic when you invoke an AI feature).

We don't read your content for advertising or model training. We may access it only when required to operate the service, respond to a legal request, or investigate suspected abuse.

Service availability

We make a reasonable effort to keep MyWriters Notes available, but we don't guarantee uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

Pricing

MyWriters Notes is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, existing free-tier accounts will keep their data; new pricing will apply only to upgraded features.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time via Delete account. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; we'll give you a chance to export your data first unless that would interfere with ongoing investigation of abuse.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyWriters Notes and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any year is capped at what you've paid us during that year (which, for free accounts, is zero).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
